GUEST POST GUIDELINES
If you’re interested in submitting a guest post for The Content Edit please read on to learn what we’re looking for and how the process works.
The Content Edit is an online platform helping bloggers and micro-business owners be more confident in the world. Predominately female, we reach bloggers, side-hustlers and those who are really wanting to create their dream life by starting a blog or online business. We are creating a positive community with the goal to be the number platform for bloggers and micro-business owners in the world.

If you think you have a great topic which will benefit The Content Edit audience and it doesn’t fall into one of the above categories, you can still send it anyway.
Currently, we do not pay for content.
We’re looking for posts which teach, share and give value to our readers. Be original! Please do not submit posts that have already been published elsewhere online (including your own site). Do not submit articles that have not been published but have been submitted for publication elsewhere. Duplicate content is not good for you or us! All submissions must be original to The Content Edit.
Our current publishing schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please submit posts by the 15th of the month to be included in the following month’s schedule.
We prefer regular contributors who we can build a long-term relationship with. For this, we ask you to commit to a post at least every 2 months. To discuss this further, email firstname.lastname@example.org
We accept blog posts between 500 and 1500 words
We request at least one image to go with the blog post as a header (this will also be included in the post). We will create a graphic to be used on Pinterest.
For your first submission please include an image of yourself and a short bio (up to 100) words plus your own website and social media links.
We don’t accept press releases.
We don’t accept posts with multiple links to other websites eg. from Content Farms.
Please don’t advertise your business, product or service within the blog post. Also, please don’t include affiliate links.
Always carefully edit and proofread your post before submission.
Please email your submission to email@example.com. Keep the headline and full article in the body of the email.
We reserve the right to edit headlines, body copy, add in links to similar posts on The Content Edit as related content and anything else we feel needs changing before publishing.
Once all writing is submitted to The Content Edit it is the property of The Content Edit.
Attach only images that you own and give us permission to use.
Please note we don’t provide feedback on all submissions if you haven’t heard back within 4 weeks your submission hasn’t been accepted on this occasion.
