Once you’ve written a fantastic blog post what do you do next? One of the most common questions I get asked from clients & students is how do I get more traffic to my blog for free.
There are lots of different ways to increase traffic to your blog & today I’m sharing 3 of my favourites with you!

Guest Blogging

Having a guest post on another blog can help to drive traffic to your own website. When I first started blogging, this was something I did a lot. It’s important to find a blog with a similar audience to yours.

You want to be able to give their audience value & make them want to check out your blog. When you agree to a guest blog, ensure you can link back to your blog & social profiles so people can find you!

Social Media

This is one of the best ways for free traffic as there are more & more places you can share your blog now. My favourite places to share every new blog post are on Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories, Twitter & Pinterest.

When you share your blog posts with your follows, it reminds them of what you have to offer. We are also seeing so many different pieces of content every minute, it’s important to put out reminders to your current audience to help increase your traffic.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

When you’re planning out your blog post think about SEO & what people will be searching on Google to find your blog. Use something like Googles free Keyword Planner to help you see what people are searching & include these in your blog posts.

SEO doesn’t guarantee instant traffic but over time & with the correct keywords you can increase the traffic to your blog.

These are 3 of the many ways to increase traffic. Remember, when you get the extra traffic it’s important to ensure you are providing your audience with good quality information so they will want to keep coming back!
